A very pretty Anna Apron Dress

One of my wonderful customers, Bev, send me these images of an Anna Apron dress that she made. I think it turned out very beautiful and I wanted to show her Anna off :) Bev used Elfi fabric as well as organic Westfalen fabric pink swirls woven and small dots pink/red . A really great fabric combination! Thanks SO much Bev for letting me share your creation! :)

It's "just" ribbon

But I am seriously in LOVE!! When I received this delivery of brand new Farbenmix ribbon I just couldn't help myself. I ooohhhh'd and aaahhhh'd, the children all exclaimed how cuuuuute...
The fabulous designer is Paulapue and I have always wanted everything she has to sell.
I am so happy to offer these ribbons to you and I am also excited to make an outfit (or two or three) using these ribbons... Maybe a few Vida's? And definitely Isabella :)

So many fairies

Ella's long anticipated Birthday Party finally happened yesterday! All the little fairies had a great time, eating cupcakes, getting their faces painted by moi (I will not make a career out of
that ;-) ) and dancing wildly with their ribbon twirlers!

For Ella's Birthday she requested I make her a dress out of this super lovely Stenzo fabric. It was by far the most complicated dress I have yet made (being just an advanced beginner) but it turned out great and she felt beautiful in it :)

Children truly inspire to be creative and spending time with them reminds you how important play is and to just let loose and have fun! I could have a bunch of fairies in my yard all of the time and never tire of them :)

I am sorry

That it is so quiet lately on my blog. The children are on summer vacation and we are trying to find a new routine :) I have been sewing but I had to take a little break because my back gave out.
I promise I will post pictures of new creations soon!
Also I just ordered more Westfalen fabrics and bias tapes. Hopefully they'll be here soon so stay tuned!
